I Made This!

I am so excited!! Last month I got a sewing machine for my birthday (thank you Bobby). Until now I had only used it to repair a couple of seams. Tonight I actually did my first project with the sewing machine. I made a pillow sham. And I must say that it turned out fabulous! I LOVE IT!
The front is a beautiful shimmery blue fabric. The back is basic white. I’m posting a couple of pics so you can oooh and ahhh over it 
Next I plan to do the same type of pillow sham for 3 larger pillows. These will be for the bed. I can’t wait to get to work on them. Wooooohooooo!!!

I’ll have to keep you in suspense a bit longer. The room is still in progress. I need some new furntiure, drapes, and shelves. Then the masterpiece will be complete!

I will say, I was very impressed with the Princess’ abilities in the Seamstress Arts field. I even disassembled a pillow to examine the inner seams and cuts - like any proper friend ready to dash someones hopes to the floor - and much to my dismay, they were good as well. Oh well, I guess I will have to add my tiara into the ring and say “Well done!” and “They look great!” Oh, and don’t forget the - “When are you going to fix my pants that I ripped?”
