Lazy Sunday
June 27th, 2004 by Ian
Another lazy Sunday morning. I love times like these. I got up around 10, but stayed in bed for awhile. Then got up and made breakfast for Bobby and I. Now I’m checking email and blogging. It’s good to be lazy!
We had a great time last night. Went to dinner at Chris and James’s house. Their friends Terry and Gary also came. We hadn’t seen them in about a year. Really fun couple. Chris grilled steak and veggies. Usually I don’t crave steak, but the ones last night were delicious! Kudos to the chef. I made a berry tart for dessert. It came out rather well. Next time I’m going to make the lemon custard filling thicker and cut down on the lemon juice. I thought the custard’s lemon flavor was a bit too strong. It overpowered the flavor of the berries.
I’m heading to Fry’s this afternoon. I’m installing a new hard drive into Jester (my file server), and a need a cage to mount it into the 5 inch drive bay. Once I install it, I’m going to setup backups for everything (websites, email, music, pictures, etc). I should have done this a long time ago. I’m just lucky Jester or Queen (our main server) never crashed. Reripping all our cds again would be a bitch!
cmood=Lazy and Full
cmoodpic=full
cmusic=None, the file server is down
Did you get your server up again? I’d hate to know you were continuing to be music-less!
Current mood: productive
Current music: conversation on boss’s speaker phone.
