Sewing Glory
July 8th, 2004 by Ian
I’m so impressed with myself. I just finished hemming a pair of jeans. I love sewing - it has *so* many uses. I picked up a couple of pair of great jeans at Nordstrom Rack yesterday (outlet store for Nordstrom). Of course, they didn’t have the length of jean I wanted, so I just bought the two pairs that fit my waist. I decided I had a sewing machine, I might as well use it for more than pillows.. Don’t want Bobby yelling at me for not using it
It took me an hour and half to do the first pair. A lot of time, but well worth it. I’m hoping the next pair go much quicker now that I know what I’m doing.
In further sewing excitement (oh, you know you are dying to hear this), I bought some fabric to make drapes for my office. I bought two beautiful reddish-orange fabrics. I think they will look great!
I just have the most exciting blog. I tell you about cleaning my house and sewing projects. So enthralling. I bet you can’t wait for the next installment…….

Can’t wait to see those jeans
Wow! How exciting! I can’t stand it! I just wet myself jumping up and down with excitement. (Or is it the age onset by boredom? I can’t tell anymore. Once you hit 30, it’s over. LOL )
Wait until you hear about the next exciting things done with the sewing machine…
