Good Food, Great Company

Just finished up an evening with friends. Chris and James came over to join Brian, Bobby, and myself for dinner. I made an asian dinner that turned out quite nice. We had a wonderful evening of drinks, food, games, drinks, and conversation. It was the perfect way to end a nice day.
Bobby and I went to Hawain Falls this morning. It is the water park that was built a mile down the road from us. It looks small from the road but it actually very big. I was not excited about going, but I wanted to do it for Bobby. After being there for 10 minutes, I was hooked. I was ready to buy season tickets. Unfortunately, it is too late in the season to get season tickets. Oh well, maybe next year. We can still go a few more times this year. So much fun!!
Later in the day we went looking for a new dog. We have been talking about another dog for quite some time. We’ve even gone looking in the past. It is a very exhausting process. We want to make sure that not only do we like the new dog, but Caleb does as well. Finding that perfect mix of personaltiy, size, playfulness, and age is difficult. It depresses me to go to the different animal shelters and look at dogs. None of the dogs are bad, in fact, many of them are great dogs. Unfortunately, the don’t quite fit what we are looking for. It is hard to spend time with a dog, and then walk away knowing you could give it a good home. But it is important to not get emotionally attached to the dog, or else we would go home with the first one we saw.
No big plans for tomorrow. Tentative plans to see “Bourne Identity” with Chris and James. I’m hopping to work on the curtains for my office. And maybe I will clean the carpets in the den. I purchased a carpet cleaning machine on Friday. I love it!! It does an amazing jobs on the carpets. So far I have done the dining room and living room. Amazing the dirt that lies in your carpets.
Whew…..I had a bit too drink tonight. Feeling a bit tipsy. I’m trying to keep my entry as PC as usual. I think it best I end here so I don’t post things I regret later. Take care all……..

… hmmmm… just discovered that Comments don’t like “” surrounding words (like english mistress), so had to use square brackets.
Um yeah - we can tell by the spelling and the grammar you were very happy when typing this.
Oh and guys, we were pulling your legs with the eggrolls. They were store bought. LOL
But I had a great time as well. Food was great and the company was even better. I love all my friends.
