Game Night Extravaganza!
December 29th, 2004 by Ian
I had a blast yesterday evening. I was bored at work yesterday afternoon and decided that I needed a fun night to make up for it. So I called up Bobby and we decided to put together a little game night. Invited over some friends, ordered pizza, popped open a few bottles of wine and vodka, and pulled out the board games.
Needless to say, I got toasted on wine. But I think it helped me get through playing Settlers of Katan (sp?). That game is not for 6 people! I’m thinking that next time we need to get a good game of pictionary going. Now there is a group game!
Now I’m at work entertaining myself by blogging. Things have been very slow this week. About 3/4 of my team and 1/2 the entire office is on vacation. It has been great! I guess next week it all goes back to normal.
Tomorrow Bobby and I head out for New Orleans. We are going with another couple for New Years. I’ve only been to NO once when I was 16. And that trip was to the museum. So I really haven’t gotten to experience the city properly. Jeff and Jeremey (the friends we are going with) have promised to give us a proper introduction to the city - drunken stupor and all
Should be a memorable time!

Just noticed that the current music was Scissor Sisters’ Filthy Gorgeous. Awesome live! They were like having a fantastic dance band live and my friend and I danced all night to them. VHS or Beta opened up for them. Check out their album Night On Fire
