Back From The Big Easy

Well, we made it back alive…..barely. Bobby and I celebrated the new year in New Orleans with our friends Jeff and Jeremy. We had a great time walking the French Quarter and Garden District, eating wonderful food, shopping, dancing the night away, and, of course, drinking. We rang in the new year at Parade on the dance floor. It really was a great time. All sorts of memories from that night!
I really didn’t drink that much the first 3 days. But on the last day, we stopped at Pat O’Brians to waste a couple of hours before we were to head to the airport. I became very well acquainted with the popular Hurricane. Three and a half of those plus something called a Skylab and I was well past drunk. I guess it was the perfect way to end a trip to NO. At least I’m trying to convince myself it was.
