I’m listening to Tori Amos’s new single called “Sleeps with Butterfiles”. I’m very torn at the moment. The song hasn’t “grabbed” me yet. I’m really liking the chorus, but the rest of the song is just so-so. For those that do not know, Tori Amos is my favorite artist. Her music has defined my life for the past 11 years. To be corny, her music has been the soundtrack to my life.
Okay, I’m on my second listen of the single. It is beginning to grow on me. I’m truly in love with the chorus. Her layering of her own vocals is pure bliss. And the piano just carries it all. Oh wait, I think I’m falling in love with it. Okay, the world is back to normal now

lol - that was actually very interesting insight into the way you assimilate new music. Very few songs catch me right away. I usually have to hear them a few times. Most music that I like the most I can associate with a favorite memory.
Glad to hear you finally ended up liking it. I think the world might end if Tori released a single or album that was bad!
