I Didn’t Think It Could Happen

They have opened a new restaurant in The Colony and I think I like it. Of all things, it is a Japanese sushi place. Luckily, they have a wide selection of items that don’t contain seafood. The spicy teriyaki chicken was good and Bobby loved the sushi. They are still waiting on their liquor license so they had sake on the house. I can’t pass by free alcohol 
They also had this very interesting ice cream called Moochie. It was little balls of ice cream (green tea or red bean) surrounded with some sort of jelly. Very different, but very good. I have to admit that the ice cream was my favorite part. I’m glad we finally found a place in town that we really like.
We had dinner with Jeremy and Jeff. Went back to their place afterwards for some wine and a game of pool. I’m very jealous of their game room. They have it setup with a bar surrounded by bar stools and a pool table that has seating at the side. It is the perfect entertaining room. Hopefully Bobby and I will be able to make that kind of space in our house.
I got an email from an old friend out of the blue yesterday. It is great to hear from them and get back into contact. Hopefully we can do a better job of staying in contact in the future. We shall see…
