I just found out that Amy Sedaris will be coming out with a book on entertaining at home. From the reading the press release, it should be damn funny. How could you not love a book that has chapters on “a rich uncle comes to visit”, “cooking for the elderly”, and “dating an alcoholic”. The bad news is that it isn’t set to be released until Fall of ‘06. That is just too damn long!
Luckily, in my Amy searches I found out that they have finally set a release date for the Strangers With Candy movie. I’ll be running to the theater on October 21st to see it. I can’t wait! I loved the TV show. I was so excited when the released all 3 seasons on DVD. I can never tire of watching them.
Now I just need to go find out about that other wacky Sedaris.
