Getting Ready

We are in NOLA!!
Got up about an hour ago. Had to make it out of the room in time to grab something from the free breakfast spread at the hotel. It was a bitch getting up but once I had my coffee I was feeling much better.
We got in to town around 9 last night. Promptly met up with the rest of the group and headed to the Gumbo Shop for dinner. I had their chicken and andouille gumbo….de-lish! Then we proceeded to do a bit of bar hopping - The Old Absinthe House, Oz, Bourbon Street Pub, and Good Friends. By the time we left Good Friends at 2 am I was well past toasted and hovering near smashed teritory. To avoid a horrible night/hangover, I decided we should burn off some alcohol with exercise……dancing of course. So Layton, Chris, and myself went to Oz where we danced the night into morning until 5 am. Quick dip in the pool when we got back to clean off the smoke and fell into bed.
So that brings us up to now. Looks like it is my turn to shower. Then time for another great meal.
