No “Candy” in October

Ahhhh, I’m so disappointed. I just read that Warner Independent Pictures has dropped “Strangers With Candy”. Something about them being worried the producers had not secured all the rights to the show or some other mumbo-jumbo. All I know is that I have been looking forward to this movie for a long time. I’ve been watching my calendar for the last month as the count down began. The movie was set to be released 10/21. I was planning to be the first in line. Now, who knows when I will get to see it. Damn you Warners!!!
I’m going to sulk in my corner (ie cube) now.

And, I’m sulking with you Ian, I was looking forward to Strangers also.
You can never have too many margarita nights! But sadly, there was only one this week. Perhaps we can remedy that. Bobby and I do have a new bar we need to break in!
As for the movie, I’ll let you know if they get a new release date. We can be first in line together. Well, I’ll be first and line and you can be second. I don’t like sharing the glory
