Is Prayer Safe?

It may no longer be safe to pray in your own home! God is now punishing those who pray for their own safety during a storm. Stop praying now before God decides to make you his next victim!

    As Katrina was coming ashore last year, I remember news reports indicating people were asking for prayers and that people were praying that they be spared.

    Prayer is the lazy way to save yourself. They should have been busying themselves getting the hell out of the way. And the people who asked for prayers after the fact should have been asking for water, food, shelter, clothing, helicopters, pumps, money, etc.

    I think God is telling us we should try to do more for ourselves than just constantly rely on Him.

    That’s no fun. I like to believe in a vengeful god with a wicked sense of humor. Gives him a bit more interest ;)
