Street Humor

Today I drove past a street called Lois Ln.  :}

I wanted to link to a map of it but it is too new to be included in mapquest or google maps.

    Sadly, one wonders if the irony of the street name was lost on those that named it (these government types rarely have a sense of humor).

    I was thinking the same thing. It was probably the contractor’s wife or daughter. They probably went for “Ln” instead or “Dr” or “St” because of the alliteration or a formula for when a street is a Rd, St, Ln, Blvd or Ave.
