Snow Day!!

I woke up this morning to this site outside my front door. Everything is covered in ice. Of course my first reaction was to grab the phone and call the weather line at work. The office is closed today!!! I get to stay home and be a bum. I am so excited!
I’m made a similar post over at mine, inspired by you. Looks like we ventured out a little further than you did. But, you’re probably still wearing your fuzzy bunny slippers
After I posted this, Bobby and I threw on a double layer of clothes and went for a short walk around the block. I was disappointed that the cement wasn’t slippery. I wanted to slip-n-slide my way around the block. Oh well, still fun.
Snow day? Texans are such wusses.

No snow here yet, but then it always seems to hit us in late January or early February.
Okay, you win on the snow challenge. But let’s see what happens up there when the temperature gets in the 100’s.
True. Why do 2-story houses here have only one AC and the thermostat on the lower floor? Lunacy I tell you!
And wouldn’t you know, we had our first snow yesterday (not as bad as this photo, less than 6″).
