Music Mania - Mika Edition

In the past couple of years, it has been rare for me to get a new CD that throws me into music mania. Music mania being when listening to a new cd electrifies my mind, body, and soul to the point of bouncing off the walls. Music mania often leads to playing the cd repeatedly at loud volumes while dancing around the house (often on couches and chairs). The joy of discovering great new music just bubbles out me. It’s weird how emotional I get when I find wonderful music.
Well, today is one of those days! I picked up a cd by new artist Mika that is titled Life In Cartoon Motion. This guy is truly amazing! I would describe him as the reincarnation of Freddie Mercury in vocals and cousin of Scissor Sisters in musical stylings. Purely infectious pop to get you moving. I love it love it LOVE IT!
You must go out and buy it now. Literally, stop reading this boring blog and go buy his cd. Don’t deny yourself any longer. Join me in music mania!

Although I read this boring blog AFTER I bought CD (for one cent less than you!) 
How timely–just last week I thought I should check him out after watching a story about him on a French news show. Apparently he’s really popular in Europe!
I’ll have to check him out, sounds like an intersting mix.
